Formula bar

If user turn on the FORMULA BAR, than a part of a window, like in the picture, will appear:

FORMULA BAR consists of:

  • NAME BOX (Left part of formula bar) The active cell label appears in this field (in this example B3);
  • Buttons of formula bar (Middle part of formula bar);
  • FORMULA BOX (Right part of formula bar) - Use it to enter data and formula into a cell. This field shows the content of the cell and user can enter the content of a cell as a data or formula.


If the formula bar is not displayed, than follow the procedure for appearance of formula bar.
If the content of a cell is changed, than that change is automatically displayed on FORMULA BOX.

RESIZABLE FORMULA BAR When you edit formulas, text, etc. that are longer from current size of field, formula can change height, steps:

  1. Click on FORMULA BAR;
  2. DRAG AND DROP the bottom edge of FORMULA BAR/;
