FOOTNOTE


Footnote is a word of German origin (German Fuss-foot, notes - notes), which indicates a note, a note placed on the bottom of the page of text. Footnotes are used for additional information in your document. Clicking on a reference to a footnote in the text,  Word allows transfer to the part where the additional inforamation is. Word automatically monitors the location and numbering of footnotes, this makes it easier to work.

Selection of footnote is performed by clicking from REFERENCES TAB.

FOOTNOTE, steps:

  1. SELECT TEXT.
  2. REFERENCES TAB.
  3. FOOTNOTES group.
  4. INSERT FOOTNOTE button .
  5. WORD inserts a reference mark on designated place.
  6. Moves to the bottom of the page .
  7. Type footnote text.
  8. At the end click the right mouse button .
  9. GO TO FOOTNOTE option.
  10. WORD takes you back.
  11. The End.
