WORD 2010 - PAGE SETUP

When working with text editing applications page parameters are important because most of them are set up before working with text.

PAGE SETUP:

• Page size ;
• Margin size ;
• /Orientation/ ;
• /Gutter/ ;
• Different first and other pages
• Different odd and even pages

We mostly work with A4 paper format.

/MARGINS/ (the whiteness around text) are shown in the next picture.

There are two paper orientations /PORTRAIT/ and /LANDSCAPE/

Ways of choosing /PAGE SETUP/:

1. Openning PAGE LAYOUT RIBBON
2. /PAGE SETUP/ - /SIZE/
3. PAGE LAYOUT - ORIENTATION
4. /PAGE SETUP/ - /MARGINS/
5. PAGE LAYOUT - CUSTOM MARGINS
6. The change of horizontal margine /RULER/
7. The change of vertical margine /RULER/

Page parameters are chosen from PAGE SETUP dialogue window PAGE SETUP group from PAGE LAYOUT ribbon /PAGE LAYOUT TAB/.
